Prices change all the time, especially on hot bargains. When a product price listed on BargainJill.com doesn't match a merchant's advertised price, always consider the merchant's price to be accurate and definitive. Some of us don’t know the joys of a Taj Mahal-sized shower. Some of us know our shower curtains a little too well and would donate a kidney for a little more elbow room. Overstock.com is offering a great $29.99 price on a Curved Shower Rod w/ Shower Liner and Hooks Set (rubbed bronze, nickel or chrome). The hooks alone can easily cost $15, so this is feeling like a legitimately good deal to me and my claustrophobic shower. Over 150 of our compadres agree and have rated this product 4.8 stars. Grab it before it expires late on 3/18.
To elbow room!

Your mother-in-law already snarls when she beholds your piles of clutter and coughs dryly when she eats your alfredo surprise casserole. She’s not in love with you. Just say it. But instead of “getting her back” by providing her with a 30 year old excuse for a mattress on your guest bed, get her into a better mood by giving her a good night’s sleep when she visits. I know, it sounds counter-intuitive, but it’s just good science. The 9-inch Select-A-Firmness Twin-size Memory Foam Mattress is just 189.99 at Overstock.com right now. You can grab it in any of the 3 firmness options: Soft, Medium or Firm. And the fact that it’s just a twin means that she will be comfortable, but not “too” comfortable…if you know what I mean. …and I think you do.
It’s rated 4.8 stars after over 50 reviews and at under $200 is a heck of a solution for any twin bed in your home.

Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Lincoln, et al, …we salute you and your fearless leadership which now translates into giant sales during this celebratory weekend for Presidents’ Day (2/15). Way to go, boys. Between Valentine’s and Presidents’, this weekend is loaded with sales.
Overstock.com is running an impressive Presidents’ Day Sale across many categories in honor of our former leaders. In fact, the focus is on “executive savings” in honor of the illustrious executive office. And who needs a white house to live like the top executive? Not this girl. All I need is a sweet high-back office chair, maybe some stylish boots and a long dress coat that exude power and taste, and some red, white and blue jewelry. God bless America. And whaddayouknow? Overstock is running sales on all of the above. In fact, here’s the whole list of patriotic savings:
15% Off Outerwear
15% Off Select Boots
15% Off Select Accessories
10% Off Winter Sports
10% Off Luggage Sets
10% Off Office Chairs
5% Off Mattresses
5% Off Home Improvement
5% Off Worldstock
5% Off Furniture
As Overstock has noted on their site, this crazy Winter weather has affected delivery to some zip codes. So, y’all bundle up and I’ll quit complaining every time it dips below 40 degrees in Texas…for now.
Thank you, Mr. Presidents.

If you’re thinking of sending flowers for Valentine’s Day to your Mom, your favorite aunt, or to yourself to make your partner jealous, check out ProFlowers.com. Right now they are running a 48 Hour Sale where we can save 25% off orders of $29.99 or higher. You must use promo code VDAY25 to lock down this deal. They obviously have some gorgeous arrangements to choose from as well as some chocolately happiness like chocolate-covered strawberries and boxed chocolates. Flowers and chocolate work for me every time.

Monday and Tuesday, Kohl’s is offering a great selection of Buy 1 Get 1 Free Tops and Bottoms for the Family. The covered brands include: SONOMA life + style, Croft & Barrow, Mudd, Jumping Beans and Urban Pipeline. Shirts, pants, even jeans! You don’t have to buy 2 identical items to get the Buy 1 Get 1 Free deal. Just buy any items included in the sale and the lesser value items will be free at checkout. In fact, it seems like Kohl’s is even being nice about which items they are marking as free. It looks like they determine the most expensive item, charge us for that item and then give the next most expensive item free. So imagine that you load up your shopping cart with 10 items covered under the sale and then you lined them up from most expensive to least expensive…Kohl’s charges you for every other item, not just the 5 most expensive items. Clear as mud? Yes, my illustrations are magical like that. Anyway, the bottom line is that there’s a lot savings going on. Just trust me. 😉
