Rooms-In-a-Box for Elmo, Dora and Cars Fans
I’ve recently said that I’m a sucker for a nice bed-in-a-bag set. Maximum decor with minimal thinking. Well, Walmart has even one-upped the bed-in-a-bag concept and is selling child-themed room-in-a-box sets for kiddos from 18 months to 5 years old. Maybe these have been around forever and I’m just now discovering them…not sure…but these sets are brilliant and brilliantly affordable.
The set that first stole my attention and opened up this whole new room-in-box world to me is the Elmo Sesame Street Room in a Box Set which is on clearance at Walmart for a wallet-thrilling price of $80. Even after about $20 in shipping, that’s still a fabulous price for outfitting a kiddo’s room with furniture. The set includes a toddler bed, a toy organizer and a table and stool set, all decorated with adorable Elmo graphics. All of these room-in-a-box sets have pretty strong reviews, ESPECIALLY given the price, and this one scores 4 stars after 7 reviews. Any adoring Elmo fan would be thrilled to walk into a freshly-redecorated room with all of these colorful Elmos to greet them.
While the Elmo set is the lowest price, I think that even the $100 retail price for these sets is still pretty fantastic. Here are a few more sets to choose from: Disney Princess Room in a Box for $100, Dora the Explorer Toddler Room-in-a-Box for $85, and the Disney Pixar Cars Room-in-a-Box with Canopy for $100. The Cars set is especially fun with its canopy bed and its rating of 4.1 stars after 70 reviews reflects the customer satisfaction of many happy Cars fans.
And now I’m going to see if I can find any other complete rooms in a box…like maybe home-gym-in-a-box or laundry-room-in-a-box. I’ll keep you posted.
